Sarala Devi Centre for Gender Research of Rama Devi Women's University, Bhubaneswar has been inaugurated on 29th November 2019 by the Honorable Vice Chancellor,Rama Devi Women's University. The aim of the Centre is to promote collaborative and multidisciplinary gender research activities among researchers. The objectives of the Sarala Devi Centre for Gender Research are following:

1. To teach multidisciplinary gender subjects.
2. To inspire, translate and amplify gender scholarship.
3. To connect gender specialists and contribute towards gender parity and gender justice.
4. The MoU has been signed with the Principal, Miranda House Collage for Women, Dr. Bijaya Laxmi Nanda, University of Delhi.
