The Department of psychology was established in the erstwhile Rama Devi Women’s College in the year 1972. The College was upgraded to Rama Devi Women’s University in the year 2015.Currently, it has one faculty member and two demonstrators. The Department offers only under graduate (HONS) course in psychology and is committed to achieve excellence in undergraduate education. Over100 students working towards their Bachelor’s degrees. The Department organizes seminars regularly. The Department attracts high quality students from different parts of the country and has an impressive placement record. Many of graduates choose to join different premier institutions for higher learning, whereas some prefer to join industry in their career path in the recent years the curriculum was designed with an objective of research and industry-oriented learning for the students.
